32 Week Baby Update

On Friday, I had my 32 week visit. Everything went well and we went ahead and scheduled my surgery. So, unless anything changes, Baby Bough #2 will be here on October 6th. I am so excited that I got to pick the same doctor that I had last time, too. She is wonderful and the surgery isn't until 11:30, so I get to sleep later, too, if that will be possible, I doubt it!!!! Just a few pics below to share.

Baby Can Read........

Or really he just has a good memory. Colt loves this book by Eric Carle, Brown Bear, Brown Bear. Tonight he brought it to us and told us all the animals as we turned the pages, kind of like a cliff notes version. I'm sure some 2 year olds can really read all the words, but we were proud of our little man just the same.

Jungle Rapids

Today, GE had a special discount day at a waterpark in town. We have never been, but now that Colt is older, we decided this was the day to take him. This place is really neat. It had adult slides, a wave pool, a lazy river, and a kiddie part with little kid slides. Of course, Colt loved it. Sometimes he didn't really grasp the idea of going all the way down the slides. On one of the slides, he stopped right in the middle and we could both hear him splashing in the water and laughing. Needless to say, we caused a log jam in the water slide. So, from then on, Casey would give him a shove so he would slide down faster. By the end of the day, Case and I were so tired because we had to be right there with him whatever he did that we bribed him with chicken nuggets for lunch so we could leave. Even after his nap, he told me to go get clothes on to go back to the waterpark. Whew, don't think I could have handled it.

Can't Wait for Fall!!!!

I can't wait until College Football starts. We may have gotten into the War Eagle spirit a bit early, but what's 21 days?

We Went Out Last Night

We went out tonight to eat with our good friends and neighbors, Leigh and Dave and little Hannah. I can't believe how much our 2 little munchkins have grown and now they are both about to be big siblings. Leigh is due in 2 weeks and I only have 7 if Baby Bough #2 stays in. These two love hanging out with each other and are such a hoot to watch together. Right after this picture, Colt took off running and Hannah wasn't letting go, but bless her heart, she did her best to keep up with him and both were laughing the entire time. Have you ever seen two 2 year olds outrun 2 very pregnant girls. Not a pretty sight.

Let's go, buddy!

Friend hugs are the best hugs.

Hey guys.

A Walk In the Park

Sunday, after supper, we went down to the playground in the neighborhood. We had gotten this tricycle at a yard sale for I think $15. Colt is still learning to peddle, so it helps that there is a steering wheel we can push. When he learns how to ride it, we can take the handle off. It was still pretty hot at 7 last night, but it wore Colt and Kansas out and got them ready for bed.
Colt and Casey showing me how they can do circles.
Kansas catching Colt at the bottom of the slide.

Colt loving his tricycle. He's my happy baby. I hope this next one is happy, too.

Mommy's 3 boys. Can you tell how exhausted from the heat Kansas is?

On the way home. Colt had to be like daddy and walk with Kansas.
Guess who got stuck pushing the tricycle?

Lazy Sunday

We had a lazy Sunday, yesterday. After having family here for about 2 weeks, I think we were all pooped. Casey's mom and I went to some yard sales on Saturday and found this little recliner for $8!!!! Colt loves it and thinks he is being like Casey. As soon as we brought it in, he ran and got the remote and said, "Watch Barney, please."

Watching Barney

I asked him to show me his teeth and this is the smile I got. Excuse the outfit - we were just lounging around.
