Touchdown, Auburn!!

Colt learned today to do the touchdown signal. Although we didn't get to do it much during the Auburn game, we just did it everytime someone scored on tv. Also, keep reading, because I posted 2 other posts tonight.

Weekend Pictures

I am finding it very hard to get Colt to stand still long enough to take a picture. This was right before he took off again. And now it's even harder to get him to smile, look at the camera, and stand still at the same time. We love Saturdays in the Fall at our house. We get to cheer on the Auburn Tigers!! I actually bought this jersey for Kansas when he was still a puppy. Needless to say it does not fit tubby anymore, so we passed it down.
Gram and Poppy bought this bug/caterpillar that plays music when you squeeze his ear. Colt likes to sit on it now and just hang out.
Colt giving the bug a hug. How sweet is this?
I just like this picture because it looks like Kansas is saying to the bug, "We can finally rest for a minute and not be pestered. Enjoy it, he'll be back soon!"

Casey and Amy in a 1976 Yearbook Photo

I just had to post this. I went to Yearbookyourself.com and uploaded a picture of myself and Casey and then they show you what you would look like starting in the year 1950 -2000 in every 2 years. This is us in 1976. Thank goodness we live now!! It's really funny if you are bored and need a good laugh. You should see us in teh 50's! Not a pretty sight.

Sharing with Kansas

This is a little long, but I thought they might do something, so I kept recording.

Learning to share

We are trying to teach Colton to share things, so we thought we would start with sharing food with Kansas. You can see he has the piece of cheese in his hand offering to Kansas.

And then he plays his little game of taking it back once someone reaches for it.

So finally, he just drops it/throws it for him to eat. We will keep working. Sometimes he actually does give it to him.

I was trying to get a picture of Colt and Kansas today and this is what happens. One will cooperate, and the other won't.

Finally, I got one.

Happy Birthday, Emma Grace

Happy Birthday to Emma Grace. We had a great time at EG's 3rd birthday party. Colt loved playing in the house in the background you see to the right. He loved ringing the doorbell, answering the phone (which is on the table), meeting Kailey and Grace, and of course chasing EG around the yard. What a beautiful little girl you are growing up to be. Just like your mommy.

This really isn't the best picture, but the only one I could get where Colt was sitting still for 1 second. Notice the pizza flying in front of EG's face. Who knows where that came from. I think this is right before he reached on her plate to grab a piece of her pizza.

Welcome Baby Parker!!!

We are so excited that Brandy and Brad welcomed their first child into their family; well, first human child that is. Parker Dean Kleeman was born on September 8th. What a precious little boy. Colt and I went to meet him and see how mommy and daddy were doing. They are doing great and Jake is being a wonderful big brother!! He even learned a trick from Kansas and sniffed out a dirty diaper - on Parker, not Colt. Great job, Jake!!!

The gang - minus Kansas.

Colt really did not pay much attention to Baby Parker. He was too busy exploring his new surroundings. I think he was a little bit envious of all the hair Parker has, though.

Brandy and I

Brad and Brandy with Colt. Enjoy Parker just sleeping guys!! Pretty soon he will be a wiggle worm like this one.
On our way back home we made a pit stop at Pedro's. It's about an hour and a half from home and I've always been curious as to what it's all about. It's sort of like a little compound that has restaurants, gooney golf, shops, and a little amusement park. The best thing about Pedro's South of the Border is their markting. They have the best billboards. Our favorite is : "YOU NEVER SAUSAGE A PLACE!! YOU'RE ALWAYS A WIENER AT PEDRO'S." I had to take a picture of Colt standing with Pedro. Hopefully one day you will actually be able to see him.

I just thought this was cute. It is a wiener dog that looks like it is drinking water. I know, cheezy, right, but when you have been driving in car for 6 1/2 hours with Barney in your right ear over and over again, you might think this wiener dog was cute, too.

Lazy Weekend

After a hard day of watching college football, what better way to end the weekend than to read a good bedtime book with Daddy.

This is one of our new poses, now. As Colt walks he sticks out his milk belly.

"Mommy you are funny!

"Let me show you what I can do. I will be your halftime show."

"Daddy wake up - you're missing the show!!

Even Kansas likes college football weekends.

"Daddy that looks like a good book.........."

"but maybe I could come up there and you could read this one instead?"""

I love this picture. Don't they look so comfy all snuggled together. I think this may be the
first book Casey has read in a while. It actually looks like the bedtime story worked faster on Casey than it did on Colt, but he is really awake.
