Hooray for College Football & War Eagle!!!!

Casey and I love to watch college football every Saturday and we are so excited it's back. We even have a Bough/Ayers College Football Pool that makes every game exciting because no one wants to lose. Colt didn't really get into the football fever last year too much, because he was asleep most of the time. This will be his baptism into living in the South and loving college football, especially Auburn!!! As you can see from his t-shirt, he already loves Aubie!

Here is a little play calling from under Center for the Bough Pee-Wee League. A quarterback or a running back. Who knows. He already knows how to spike the ball in the endzone.

Proud to be a Tiger!

Put me in Coach! I don't want to stand on the sidelines any longer.

Daddy thinks we might have a little quarterback on our hands. Set, Hut!!!

"I didn't like that play call. I have to tell my Center a different play."

Not the most conventional route ever run, but hey, it's a start. Maybe it was a quarterback sneak.

Kansas and Colt - Best Friends - Sort of

I made 2 posts, so keep reading.

I haven't posted any pictures of Colt and Kansas in a while. It really is kind of hard to catch them in the same place and being still long enough. Since Colt has started walking and getting faster, Kansas has to dodge him more. Colt also likes for Kansas to chase him. I guess he has picked up on the fact that whenever Casey or I go to the kitchen, Kansas follows us, so Colt wants Kansas to chase (follow) him. He gets so excited when he sees Kansas start walking behind him. Actually, I think Kans is trying to get past him so he doesn't pull any fur, but it's still cute. Kansas is getting better at letting Colt pet him and we are trying to teach him not to pull his hair, or his ears, or his tail, or put his finger in his mouth. Colt does love to feed Kansas and anything he is done eating goes directly off the side of the high chair where you know who is waiting patiently. It is really sweet in the mornings when we come downstairs and Colton sees Kansas. He gets a big smile on his face, points, and says his version of Kansie and then Kans comes over and licks his feet. I guess that is his way of saying good morning before the chasing and dodging starts for the day.

Kans is getting better about standing closer to Colt. He's still able to make a breakaway, if needed.

I thought this was a sweet picture. They are watching Casey outside mowing.

Colt is getting in Kans's personal space. It looks like Kans is telling him a secret, though.

Kans is very helpful. He is our dirty diaper checker.

Watching Daddy outside mowing. Look at how cute he is standing there waiting for Da-Da.

Afternoon in Raleigh

On Thursday, it was my my mom's birthday. Her and Daddy spent the weekend with Chris and Deanna (brother and sister-in-law). Since they live in Durham, on Saturday we went to spend the afternoon with them and celebrate Mother's birthday. Colton was a trooper and loved looking at all the people from up high, because Uncle Chris carried him. He also loved it because he didn't have to ride a single time in the stroller. He' s not a big fan of it now that he can walk. He was totally pooped when we got in the car, since he hadn't had a nap all day.

Waiting for his macaroni and cheese to come at the restaurant.

Being a wiggle worm with Poppy.
Saying goodbye to Uncle Chris and Aunt Dee Dee.

"My Uncle Chris is cool, and a sucker for a pair of blue eyes and bunny teeth!!!"

I just thought this picture was funny. He was stealing a drink of Gram's coke while she wasn't looking.

This was a fountain at the shopping center. You can see how close the sippy cup came to getting tossed in. That's why Casey is holding Colt. He was the next closet thing to going in. He does love anything that has water.

I Get My Muscles From My Daddy!

Whenever Casey or I say "Flex" to Colt, he does the cutest thing. We have been trying to capture it on camera, but everytime he gets camera shy. Today, we got a little bit of him "flexing his baby muscles."

Lunch Date with Miss Tammy and EG

We are so glad that our friends, Randy, Tammy, Emma Grace, and baby D live here in Wilmington, now. Finally, Tammy and I are both not working at the same time. Usually when one of us moves to the town the other is in, one of us is working. Today, Colt and I went on a lunch date with Tammy and Emma Grace. The kids had fun entertaining each other which included both of them getting into trouble for chasing each other in a store.

Emma Grace and Colt cheezing for the camera.

Emma Grace holding onto Colt before he escaped from the chair. What a good big sister she is going to be.

Let the Games Begin

I absolutely love watching the Summer Olympics. So in honor of the games starting tonight here is a picture of who we are rooting for.

Talk about ripping the cover off of the ball. Actually, Kansas got a hold of it and Colt was just having fun taking the stuffing out of the ball.
