We have been bored.

We have been bored this week since Casey is in New York and it has been chilly outside. Enjoy our bored inside pics. Most of are Colt who has discovered the stairs and that he can climb them as long as he doesn't let go.

Mr. Bucket Head

I know where the steps are now!! HEE HEE HEE!!!

Uh oh Mommy. You caught me!!!

I can't believe I'm this close to Kansas and he hasn't run off.

Watch me climb!!!

I'm so funny!!

Colt heard Kansas outside barking and wanted to investigate.

What did I hear outside?

Colt likes to bother Kans when he is outside and bang on the door.

You can't get mad at me that I climb the steps. Look how cute I am!!!

When it's time for Colton to go to bed, Casey and I aren't the only ones who are worn out.

A day in the park - Final Four Party- Fun in the Tub - Micellaneous

Casey, Colton, Kansas, and I went for a walk in one of our parks downtown today since it was so nice. Keep looking to see what we saw in the lake surrounding the park. Crazy!!!

Casey, Colt, and Kansas in front of the azaleas.

Colt kicking it in the stroller. "This is how I roll ladies."

The biggest gator I have ever seen in real life and in downtown Wilmington, NC.

Kansas would have been an appetizer for this monster.

Casey and I hosted a Final Four party on Saturday. Leigh, Dave, and Hannah came over along with our other neighbor, Bill. We missed you, Annie. The kids konked out before the 2nd game (thank goodness) and the boys actually made it until the 2nd game was over. We had lots of fun and lots of food.

Casey, Dave, and Bill watching the Basketball game.

Colt and his friend, Hannah, rootin' for who else, Kansas.

Fun times in the bathtub and acting silly.

What a hard life!

Again, what a hard life!

Watch me go!!

Colton helping mommy with the dishes - he has now officially helped more in his lifetime with dishes than Casey has since we've been together.

Casey's Golf Trip

Here are some pictures from Casey's annual golf trip. He and 19 others went to Montgomery, Alabama and played on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trails. They had a wonderful time and luckily had good weather.

Colton's 9 month and Easter Pictures

These are a little late, but we just picked them up yesterday. I think I went a little overboard buying pictures, but I just couldn't help myself.

Little Firsts

When most people think about babies and their "firsts", they think about the first smile, the first tooth, the first time they roll over, crawl, walk, and talk. Well, tonight I was making Casey some popcorn while holding Colton. I have in my lifetime made a bazillion bags of popcorn. But, as I was making it and talking to Casey, I noticed that Colton had started laughing hysterically. I thought he might be laughing at Casey, but when I looked at him, he was staring at the microwave watching the popcorn pop. At that moment, I thought, "This is the first time he has ever seen a bag of popcorn pop and he thinks it is the funniest thing ever." Call me crazy, but that little moment in his life touched me. Who finds that much joy in seeing a bag of popcorn pop? I just find it awesome that I get to go through this journey of not only the common "firsts" with him, but also the ones you never think about.
