Today, was Colton's End of the Year Picnic for preschool. He had a wonderful year and I'm so glad we decided to send him. It was good for him and me both!!! He learned so much and made a lot of friends. A big, giant thank you to his teachers, Miss Melanie and Miss April. God bless them for trying to teach a class of 10 two year olds!!!! We love you guys!!!!
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and find out they were the big things.

Daddy and Me
I had to go and do something the other day when Casey came home from work, and when I returned, this is what I found. Daddy conked out and Chase just hanging out. So sweet. I love how he crosses his little feet and how he's holding on to Casey's thumb. How did I get so lucky?
Beach Buddies
Every summer, we usually get a group of friends together and head out to the beach in the late afternoon. It's perfect for the little ones to play without worrying about getting a sunburn, and they are pretty worn out and ready for bed when we get home. Last weekend we went with our friend Greg and his sister and brother-in-law, Erin and Frank, and their 2 girls, Madison and Katherine. Colton and Katherine had a blast playing in the water, even though it was still very, very cold!!! Thanks to Greg for some of these pictures.

Brotherly Love
Today, Colton decided he wanted to play with his little brother. Since Chase is more mobile now, Colton thinks its fun to wrestle with him, because Chase just laughs at him. It is so much fun to get to watch them play.

Chase's 1st Time at the Beach!
Sunday was such a nice day, we took Colton and Chase down to the beach for the first time this year. This was also Chase's 1st ever visit to the Atlantic. I do believe he is going to be a water baby just like Colt. Of course he ate the sand and cried the first time the water hit him, but after that he loved it. Colt did not like little brother playing with his sand bucket, as you can tell in the series of pictures.

Mother's Day
I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day. I got a very special handmade card from Colt that he made at school to start off my weekend. I got to choose what we ate all weekend, which is a rare treat. Casey got us a new Honda Odyssey so we would have tons of room to ride in, we had a beautiful day to go to church and a great lunch. I am so lucky to have my 2 little boys. They make me smile and definately keep me on my toes every day. I thank God that he chose me to be their mommy.
We would also like to say a very special Happy Mother's Day to our moms. What wonderful moms you were to Casey and I and you two are the best Nana and Gram anyone could ever ask for. Thanks for all you have done for us in our lives.
And, a very happy 1st Mother's Day to my sister-in-law, Ashley. She has the most adorable little girl, Blair, and I'm so happy to be her aunt. We can't wait to meet her. We hope you had a wonderful day.

Chase is 7 months old!
Our little doodlebug is already 7 months old!! I can't believe it is going so fast! He is now starting to army crawl to get to all of Colton's toys, which doesn't go over to well with big brother. We are going to have to work a little harder on sharing in our house. He is still such a happy baby and gets so excited to see Casey in the mornings and when he comes home from work. He also loves, loves, loves to laugh at big brother. I wish time would slow down, because my babies are getting so big, too fast!!

Happy 5th Birthday, Kansas
Today was Kansas's 5th birthday. It seems like just yesterday I went to pick him out in backwoods Tennessee with my friend, Niki. What a wonderful 1st wedding anniversary present you were. Casey says you are the gift that keeps on giving - and costing him money. We love you Kansas!!!
Poor Kansas - he didn't even want treats here. I was trying to bribe Colton to sit still instead of Kansas.
Chase was touching Colt. He was trying to get him off of him. Unless it's Colt's idea, he doesn't want Chase touching him. Silly!!!

Just a little add on picture. Colton doesn't really like to take naps anymore, so after a day where we went round and round, and he won without a nap, this is what I found as I was making supper and went in to ask him something.
